D32 el. stationary live steam engine

A rare Vintage 60/70's Wilesco D32el live steam engine with electrical heating. A very large, substantial model, the biggest and now rarest that Wilesco made. Dimensions: Base, Length x wide 53 x 43 cm. Flywheels Diameter 10 cm. The item is in nice condition. There are large twin, double acting steam piston/cylinders which drives the large twin flywheels. There is a clutch mechanism operated from the control panel lever which engages and disengages the lineshaft transmission take off to the rear of the engine. A boiler feed water pump with bypass is fitted and driven from an eccentric on the crankshaft. This allows continuous running enabling the boiler to be replenished with water while still being steamed. A water recirculation tank in the form of a pull out draw is also installed. Lubrication oiler is fitted in the control panel as is a steam pressure gauge, tachometer gauge, steam control valve and clutch lever. There is a fitted generator/dynamo which could be used to power a light or something similar.The boiler is fairly substantial and finished in a bright nickel finish, has a spring operated pressure relief valve, a lever weight operated pressure relief valve and a whistle arrangement, the end of the boiler is fitted with a large water level sight glass. A boiler drain down isolation valve is also fitted. This particular model has not been in production since the 60/70's and so this represents an excellent opportunity to source that hard to find model.
